Arv’s health occupation has stemmed from traditional and various wellness sources. She became a registered nurse in 2006 and began her nursing career in Vancouver, British Columbia. She formerly practiced nursing in family health and urgent care.
In 2016, Arv entered the functional medicine and integrative health world, earning her Masters Degree in Nursing. Her areas of interest have included: hair restoration; sleep management; weight loss; custom thyroid management; bio-identical hormones (men and women); testosterone replacement therapy; women’s health issues (PMS, peri-menopause/menopause, endometriosis, PCOS).
Under the teachings of renowned educator Dr. Neal Rouzier, MD, Arv completed the course “Mastering the Protocols for Optimization of Hormone Replacement Therapy.” As a functional medicine practitioner, Arv specializes in disease prevention, including how to balance hormones and metabolism.
Arv has witnessed how diseases impact low hormone levels, inactive lifestyles and unhealthy diets. She is keen on living a healthy regime, which includes yoga, bicycling, fresh air and expanding her medical expertise. She believes that restoring one’s health should take an individualized approach. Arv is available to consult with patients via in-person or video conference appointments.
